Societies did not always have computers, books, or pens, but they have always told stories. Sometimes those stories remind us of what we have forgotten. Other times, stories show us what we have yet to imagine. Stories teach. They help us grow. They make us laugh, cry, and analyze our greatest uncertainties. They are the most effective vehicle for putting new ideas into the world. Books, television, movies, short stories, college essays, jokes, speeches, magazines, and newspapers are all forms of stories.

Somewhere along the way of growing up, people inevitably lose some portion of their imagination, but there is something innate about children and creativity. It’s important to give them an opportunity to channel and explore that inherent creativity in a positive environment.

Junior Storytellers is a new Los Angeles based educational program designed to embrace and explore creativity through storytelling.  We establish a creative environment through games and lessons and then put the paper and pencil in front of the kids.  The rest is up to their imaginations!  We're excited to bolster reading and writing skill sets kids develop in school with a fun enrichment program.  Whether it's learning math, playing soccer, or cleaning their room, kids are often criticized for being distracted by their imaginations.  We want to create a place for them to embrace those imaginations.

In-school and after-school enrichment programs, summer programs, and private sessions are all available.
